Some aspects of the Suzuki LS650 remind me strongly of the Doughlas Dakota or as it is more commonly known the DC-3. Designed in the mid 1930 era, last produced in 1946 there are still dozens of these airplanes flying. The airframe has no lifespan - it cannot be worn out - as long as engine spares and wear point spares are availalbe the "Gooney Bird" will continue flying.
We have references on this forum to folks getting up to 75,000 miles on thier original engine - so who knows what the "life" span of the Savage might be with a rider willing to do extremely regular routine maintenance and the occassional major overhaul
Keep the rubber side down
